Roxanne Bois (she/her/elle)

Speech-Language Pathologist, Reg. CASLPO #6376

True to my Zodiac sign -♊️- I am inquisitive, intuitive and communicative. I love all humans in all of their glorious diversity and I admire Nature to the fullest. I am the proud mother of three children and a plethora of plants, including fruit and vegetable gardens. With this in mind, I strive to operate an eco-friendly business with a focus on rural health throughout Northern Ontario. I entered the world of private practice Speech-Language Pathology over five years ago following a short career as a high school teacher. Now guided by a strong sense of duty, compassion and the values described below, I am utilizing my short time here on Earth to help clients achieve success with communication and/or swallowing.

Meet the Owner!

Shivani Rajeev (she/her)

Speech-Language Pathology Assistant

I am Shivani, a curious and enthusiastic Speech-Language Pathology Assistant. I am a true Libra in that I thrive on balance, peace, justice and connection. As a self-professed good listener and a social butterfly, I like to work hard and play hard. Professionally, I am equipped with a Bachelor’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology and a Master’s in Swallowing and feeding difficulties from India. My highest interests include paediatric feeding and neurodevelopmental disorders as well as adult neurogenic communication and swallowing disorders. Over the years, I have worked as a Speech and Swallowing Pathologist in India at an early year’s clinic and in a hospital. Helping children and adults with speech, language, communication and swallowing difficulties reach their full potential in a fun and engaging way feeds my soul.

I am thrilled to join a friendly, supportive and growth-mindset focused team with the common goal of offering the best client care possible in an open and accepting environment. I am proud to offer intervention in English and in a few Indian languages. I also speak and understand Nepali, albeit less fluently than my other languages.

In my spare time, I enjoy reading and writing. It has been one of the most powerful tools for me and a reminder that communication is much more than spoken words. Even in silence, volumes can be spoken.

Telma Dias dos Santos (she/her)

Responding to my sign accordingly (Aquarius), I am creative, innovative and humanitarian. My family would describe me as a proactive dreamer. I am extremely proud of my kids and my man. Together with our dog, Nara, our united family loves to enjoy nature, good times with friends, good food and music. I am an Asiatic culinary lover, enjoy a good Italian pasta and love dancing.

Tracey Robbins (she/her)

Communicative Disorder Assistant

Hi! I am Tracey… with an ‘e’!

Many years ago I graduated from Georgian College: Communicative Disorders Assistant (CDA) program and University of Guelph: BASc.

I have always known that I would work with children in some capacity; but it wasn’t until the end of high school that I found my passion for speech and language during a Co-Op placement.   After graduation I began work as a CDA with the Grand Erie District School Board and then as part of the team at Lansdowne Children's Centre in Brantford.  When I started a family I knew that my children needed me to be at home and that’s where I spent the next many years with my 3 incredible children.  After experiencing huge loss a couple of years ago a great friend and former co-worker helped me find myself back into a therapy room.  Getting back to therapy, building rapport with families and helping children accomplish communication goals was exactly what I needed!  My cup continues to be filled and my heart warmed spending my days connecting and supporting families.  My goal in every therapy session is connection! I am committed to meeting families where they are at and aspire to work together to best meet the individual needs of each client.

I am currently working part time, in person, at a private speech and language therapy clinic serving preschool and school age clients and I am thrilled to join the team at RBois Speech & Language Services d'orthophonie as a virtual communicative disorders assistant (CDA).

When I am not working I am with my friends, my kids and my two dogs: Murphy, a 13 year old Portuguese Water Dog and Archie, a 2 year old Bernadoodle. I love spending time with family and friends travelling and exploring.  I am especially fond of ice cream, yoga and a good mystery/crime novel.

I look forward to connecting with you soon!

Payton Mills (she/her)

Administrative Assistant

Hi! I'm Payton (She/her),

By trade, I am a Developmental Service Worker having worked as an Educational Assistant over the course of the last 7 years. In this role, I have worked with amazing students, assisting in delivering academic, behaviour management and individual programs directed by teachers and other professionals. My career has taught me the importance of patience, communication and keeping an open mind.

I took a particular interest in communication intervention while working in a small class setting where I learned by observing how to directly support articulation and language needs. As a proud Libra with a deep passion for helping others, I remain dedicated to following my heart. I look forward to offering administrative support to RBois Speech & Language Services d'orthophonie.

Personally, I love spending time with family and friends and being creative. I have a passion for singing. When I am not dancing and singing to Broadway, I am spending time with my miniature dachshund named Molson who keeps me on my toes every day. I am beyond happy to be part of such a friendly team and provide support to clients.
